The event was a fantastic opportunity for HEY-SIGN to connect with customers, industry experts and design enthusiasts. From inspiring conversations to the presentation of our extended application areas of the Wave Infinity acoustic solution - it was a week full of creative impulses and exciting collaborations.

We would like to inform you that important changes have taken place at HEY-SIGN. As of 1 May 2024, Mr. Markus Bader has taken over the position of Managing Director, while Mrs. Katharina Günther has stepped down from her role as Managing Director.
We would like to sincerely thank Mrs. Günther for her many years of dedicated work. With the appointment of Mr. Markus Bader as Managing Director, we are continuing HEY-SIGN's successful course. Mr. Bader, who has been Business Development Manager at HEY-SIGN since 2019 and was most recently responsible for Sales and Marketing as Head of Sales, will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to our management team.
HEY-SIGN has been honoured with the Ethical Style Award from Ambiente. This prestigious award recognises our commitment to ecologically manufactured and socially responsible products. Ethical Style by Ambiente rewards companies that are committed to sustainable manufacturing practices. We remain committed to ensuring the highest quality and positive social and environmental impact in our products. We were delighted to present this award during the recent Ambiente trade fair and continue to develop innovative, ethical and sustainable wool felt products.
In January, we participated at the international furniture and interior design fair imm cologne as well as at Ambiente in Frankfurt. A complete success - especially for our new colours and new products!
Our new two-coloured felt 'couple grey 99' was especially well received. In addition, the expansion of the wall module Wave Infinity was introduced and generated a lot of enthusiasm. This acoustic product can not only be used decoratively, but also acoustically effective for curved wall surfaces and can be extended thanks to its modular properties.
We would like to thank for the numerous trade fair visitors, the positive feedback and the interaction across all sectors.
The Planner Days of Design Post Cologne, in cooperation with pCon and other renowned brand partners, have become a special event for planners, retailers and (interior) architects.
This event has undoubtedly opened up many new ideas and possibilities for the world of interior design.
We presented a variety of (acoustic) products, such as felt carpets, seating furniture and room dividers, which not only make a visual statement but also help to reduce the noise level in the room. Our wool felt products are not only sustainable, but also aesthetic and functional.
The Kind + Jugend trade fair in Cologne, Germany, which took place from 03/09 - 05/09/2023, was a global hotspot for the baby and toddler equipment industry with 15,000 trade visitors, including 76% from abroad.
The industry impressed with innovations driven by sustainability, artificial intelligence and multifunctional products. Millennials and Generation Z show increased interest in sustainable solutions.
Our participation opened up valuable insights and contacts, and we look forward to the future to develop innovative solutions for our customers.
More than 2,300 architects, planners, construction and interior professionals visited Architect@Work in Zurich at the beginning of May.
This was followed by the Belgian edition in Kortrijk, where we attracted around 6,500 visitors with over 290 exhibitors. Not for nothing was it voted the best edition ever by the organisers.
At both events, we presented our award-winning ceiling object with luminaire from the Welle acoustic series in the colour cinnamon 67.
Thanks to stable steel cables, the objects hung one above the other at different heights. The felt laid in waves created a special play of light.
Off to British shores!
The 'Workspace Design Show' took place this year from February 27th to 28th in London.
The successful event, themed Destination Workplace, took place at the London Business Design Centre. With the focus on the interior design industry, the exhibitors presented new product ideas for working spaces.
HEY-SIGN also took advantage of this special event and inspired the British audience with its (acoustic) products made of the unique natural material wool felt.
'Design is not only about creating beautiful forms, but also about providing answers to the challenges of our time', is an excerpt from the greeting to the anniversary publication by Dr. Robert Habeck, the German Federal Minister of Economics and Climate Protection.
For the second time in a row, HEY-SIGN is included in the circle of great German brands by the German Design Council. The edition of this year's volume 'recreate.transform.be resilient.' brings the triad of success exactly to the point. The core aspects such as adaptability, agility and openness to innovation are assumed here.
The triology "Timeless design, sustainable production methods and Made in Germany" continues to reflect our corporate philosophy. For this reason, we are particularly proud to once again count ourselves among the great brands in Germany!

Our Kids collection is growing. The ARCHITECT@WORK Berlin trade fair focussed on product innovations is a total event for architects, interior designers, engineers and planners. The focus of this special event is on new products, innovative products, sustainable materials, as well as versatile applications and diverse services.
At this year's stand, we presented our ceiling and wall elements of the series Spot. The highly effective acoustic panels of this product series are covered on both sides with 5 mm wool felt and are available in three different sizes. While the height adjustment to the ceiling is done with the help of corresponding wire ropes incl. Reutlinger, the distance to the wall can be chosen between 2.5 cm, 5 cm or 7.5 cm.
Thanks to the large selection of HEY-SIGN colours, the acoustic elements can be matched to existing room concepts.
The new catalogue 'Acoustic Products' is now available and enriched with some acoustic elements.

TRENDS UP WEST 4.0
"The WOW must go on" is the motto of the fourth edition of Trends Up West in Düsseldorf.
Visitors can once again look forward to new theme worlds and highlights. From 12th to 14th August 2022 there will be a tight program as well as a diverse range of products in the halls of Areal Böhler.
According to the organizer, more than 100 exhibitors will provide an exquisite brand environment in the areas of interior & lifestyle on 8,500 m².

TrendSet summer 2022 - Review
TrendSet Summer 2022 was not only a complete success for visitors, exhibitors and fair organizers, but also finally provided a get-together in the interior & lifestyle sector. Almost 2000 national and international exhibitors showed their new products and trends to more than 21,000 visitors.
In addition to the standard products, HEY-SIGN also presented the new Kids Collection. The stand shone in the warm colours powder 51, cinnamon 67, iron 66 and plum 68. All felt products have been awarded the well-known wool seal "The Woolmark Company", are certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and tested and approved according to EN71-3 of the European series of standards for toy safety.

TrendSet was one of the very few trade fairs that took place in Munich from 8th - 10th January 2022 despite the pandemic. 1,500 national and international exhibitors and brands presented their novelties to more than 13,000 trade visitors.
HEY-SIGN also took advantage of the successful event to present the five new colours ocean 41, deep forest 43, coral 54, cinnamon 67 and plum 68. It was great to see that our industry is sticking together in these difficult times.
Once again, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all trade show visitors for this.
HEY-SIGN is guided by three basic principles: Focus on customer service, passion for design & innovation and qualitative & sustainable production. It is always our ambition to operate sustainably. We take our responsibility for the environment very seriously. We can now reduce our shipping packaging of products by more than 80% plastic.
Optics and product protection are the focus of this relaunch. Until now, our wool felt products were protected by a thin plastic film. We have replaced this with a silk paper personalised with the HEY-SIGN logo. The silk paper is CO2-neutral, recyclable, sustainable and free of harmful substances and enables us to support our customers with the development of sustainable packaging.
HEY-SIGN ceiling object Wave at ARCHITECT@WORK
The ARCHITECT@WORK Düsseldorf trade fair focussed on product innovations is a highlight event for architects, interior designers and planners.
New and cutting-edge products, sustainable materials, as well as versatile applications and diverse services are highlighted.
At this year's HEY-SIGN booth, the ceiling object Wave with luminaire in a triple constellation was very popular. Thanks to stable steel cables, the objects hung one above the other at different heights. The wire rope holders called "Reutlinger" ensured simple and flexible height adjustment.
The ceiling objects in the HEY-SIGN colour taupe were presented in two different sizes. Each object, which can optionally be equipped with a light, is made of a wool felt arranged in waves on two black metal rings.
The different heights and the felt laid in waves created a special play of light.

From 19 to 22 August, the second edition of the Interior & Lifestyle Showdays took place at the Areal Böhler in Duesseldorf. On 6,500 m² more than 70 exhibitors presented their products from the interior, lifestyle, kitchen and design sector. The new location with its industrial character created a very special atmosphere.
We are very happy to have been there and thank all visitors for coming.
A big compliment also to all the organizers of the event!

iF AWARD 2021 for ceiling object Wave
The already multi-award-winning series 'Acoustic Series Wave' could convince again with the ceiling object Wave, which was now awarded with the iF Award 2021!
Like all products of the series Wave, the ceiling object is a module for improving room acoustics. The sound-absorbing effect results from the sustainable, in waves arranged material felt made of 100% pure new wool, which provides for pleasant silence and a healthy room climate. The ceiling object Wave can also be extended by a lamp.

Our new wall design Loop convinced the jury and won the German Design Award 2021 - Special Mention!
LOOP is a felt module for improving indoor acoustics, which can be used to create individual mural desigs. In public and semi-public spaces such as offices, surgeries, restaurants or schools, LOOP is particularly effective. For mounting, a holder made of powder-coated steel is screwed to the wall. The wool-felt, which essentially makes up the element, can be easily clamped in. The concise shape of a bow is the result of this.

In its 'Product Test' series, the AIT trade magazine regularly presents new, relevant products which are critically assessed and evaluated by architects and interior designers. We have taken up this thrilling challenge to find out which response our series Wave will gets when tested in an 'on-road test' by different architect's offices.
We are very pleased to say that our series Wave found high acceptance.

The Ambiente trade fair in Frankfurt was, how could it be differently, undoubtedly one of the top events in Spring 2020. As the world's largest fair for consumer goods with more than 4,400 exhibitors, this fair presents new products for Dining, Giving and Living. HEY-SIGN used this central platform to show their beautiful living accessories made of wool felt.
The combination of the muted colours stone, dove grey and indigo dominated this year's fair booth. Warm accents were set by the colour walnut whereas the pastel colour aqua glamourized the booth with freshness and ease. Seat cushions with felt knob, the hexagonal vases Leya and Ona, felt boxes and decorative objects for upcoming Easter were to marvel at. As at imm cologne, the visitor's attention was focused on the new acoustic element Loop and the new Lounge chair with ottoman, here shown in the beautiful colours walnut and powder. The small shoulder bag 'Smart bag' with press button and leather strap turned out to be the favourite piece, our true Must-have.
A clear highlight at the Ambiente Show were the Ambiente Trends. Year by year this 'special presentation' informs about new design trends, materials, themes and products for the coming year. At this location, all decisive, international trends were introduced to the visitors. These inspiring Trends 2020 were determined by the design office bora.herke.palmisano on behalf of the Frankfurt fair organisation. For the three theme worlds 'shaped+softened', 'precise+architectural' and 'artistical+diverse' different products of the collections of the almost 4,500 Ambiente exhibitors were selected.
We are very pleased that our HEY-SIGN seatings were allowed to be part of these theme worlds. For the category 'shaped+softened' our seatings Rondo and Posito were selected. As a functional seating they reach an almost sculptural quality by their soft volume and accented contours. This effect is emphasized by the elegant, friendly and light colour wool white.
Our HEY-SIGN seatings Quart and Quader also cut a fine figure in the category „precise+architectural“. The Iron colour which belongs to the architectonical inspiring colour range of brick stone and cement colours as well as the rusty nuances, lends our Quart with wool felt cover an industrial accent. In combination with our seating Quader in the colour indigo, they bring a moody atmosphere in the thus clearly construed space.
The special shape of seating Diamond makes it a piece of furniture with a unicum character of the design line 'artistical+diverse' which stands for offbeat colours rich in variety. The palette shows a refreshing mixture of bright colours like in our case may green.
Within the framework of Ambiente fair in Frankfurt the official award ceremony of German Design Award 2020 took place too. The fact that our seating Diamond is one of the winners in the category 'Furniture' makes us cheer. By the way, there is also a smaller version of our 'Winner' now, the new Brilli.
For HEY-SIGN, as for many other manufacturers, the imm cologne trade fair is one of the most important events in Spring. Here the interior industry from all over the world shows the new product of their collections.This year again, HEY-SIGN's major themes were acoustics, sustainability and innovative design.
One of the attractions, the mobile of felt discs, directed the visitor' attention to the new Lounge chair with matching ottoman. The award-winning seating Diamond got a little brother, Brilli, also suitable as a side table or as a seating for smaller apartments. The acoustically effective ceiling object Wave is now also available with a fitting luminaire which can get equipped with different options for regulating the light and which can get controlled by a corresponding app. The sound-absorbing effect results from the material wool felt set in waves. Did you know that even the small model uses about 17 linear meters of wool felt?
To design living and office spaces more flexible, HEY-SIGN now also offers its room dividers in new widths and heights. Moreover, new adapters fitting all room divider models are now available which allow for a T-and crosswise positioning.
The interesting shape of the new wall object Loop stirred up. Besides its exceptional design, the new product also convinces as an acoustic element. The steel retainer into which the felt can be easily inserted, can be mounted to the wall in a horizontal and vertical way alike.
The mural design created with HEY-SIGN tile Relief shows the versatility of this product. The arrangement with large and small coloured circles reminds of planets in space. The interplay of the geometric shapes made of felt is fascinating.
In 2020 the Stylepark selection committee once again carefully studied all imm cologne new product releases before the fair opened its doors to the public. Of those judged, the most successful got honoured with the Stylepark Selected Award. Our ceiling object WAVE with luminaire made it and won the Stylepark Selected Award imm cologne 2020!
We are very pleased that our design convinced the jury members!

To the great delight of the designer Boris Pickenhagen and the entire HEY-SIGN team, the jury of the German Design Award 2020 has taken their decision and announced our latest seating 'Diamond' winner in the category 'Furniture'.
The statement of the jury: "The striking polygonal form of triangles and quadrilaterals is reminiscent of the aesthetic of a diamond, through which the stool draws attention to itself. An interesting piece of furniture, which can also be used as a table and, with its original design, complements many interiors as an interesting eye-catcher."
We can only subscribe to this view and understand this award as motivation to continuously aim our efforts at innovative design 'made in Germany'. Source: German Design Council, Team German Design Award.
